This artwork was inspired by the feeling of winning. I really wanted to capture it and lock it away. To be able to feel it myself somehow when I needed inspiration as I worked towards my own running goals.
Painting Usain Bolt was not only challenging, but also very moving. When you paint the details of his posture, muscle tone and overall position on the track. It is truly mesmerising.
