Creating a commission artwork allows for a unique collaboration between both yourself and Leanne.

Each commission is tailored to reflect your vision and personal style, making it a heartfelt addition to any space. The process typically begins with a consultation, where ideas, themes, and desired dimensions are discussed in detail.

This initial conversation is crucial for ensuring that the final artwork resonates with your expectations. Following the agreement on concept and budget, sketches may be provided for approval before the painting begins.

Throughout the creation phase, open communication is maintained to ensure that the piece evolves in alignment with your preferences, ultimately resulting in a treasured, one-of-a-kind work of art.

Commission process

There is nothing quite as eye catching as an original artwork hanging on the wall. And even more so when it is something specific to you.

So we make sure we understand exactly what you are after.

  • First, we receive your online enquiry via the online form above

  • We organise a good time to contact you to discuss what it is you envisage. We go away and work on this to provide you with an expected completion date as well as pricing.

  • You will receive a quote to accept and pay a deposit to enable work to commence

  • Leanne will provide updates as the artwork progresses

  • Final payment is made and the artwork is shipped to you

  • How do I know what size artwork to request?

    The artwork size depends on the location an artwork will be hung. Aim for the artwork to be no more than 70% the width of the item it will hang above.

    Will my artwork be framed?

    It can be. We usually order all canvases with frame at the time of order. We work this part out straight away in order to provide you a quote. And order the wood type you desire.

    Generally, if you chose not to have a frame at the beginning and you change your mind upon seeing your artwork, you can add framing afterwards. Framing is always the cost the supplier charges.

    Will my artwork be ready to hang on the wall straight away?

    Yes it will.

    What if I change my mind after I have paid the deposit?

    There is a no refund policy on the deposit.

    What if I don’t like the finished artwork?

    This should not occur as Leanne will show you progress along the way. However, we want you to hang the artwork proudly on the wall. If you do not like the finished piece, we will work to correct the artwork to your liking.

    Failing this we will work with you to find the best solution.
