Ever had something taken away from you…
that you long for every day?
That’s what happened to me when a domestic violence injury took me out from running… I was told I would never run again
Until 13 years later when I decided that’s just not my story… I have to try one more time
I surrounded myself in all things running
… including teaching myself how to paint runners … runners that inspired me
For every painting I created… I achieved a new running milestone
Now I can say… I can run and I can paint
and I love it
And that’s why I paint runners

Caroline Eagleson
a regular at her local Parkrun Saturday mornings
Caroline was born with a neurological condition known as spina bifida
Its symptoms vary but in Caroline’s case she was born with no feeling in her lower legs & feet
I painted Caroline’s running portrait
