Im running to encourage donations to MS Plus who provide support for those living with a neural condition. To enable quality living.
MS Plus is also leading the way into research for a cure for multiple sclerosis … And they believe they will find it
Not that’s worth supporting!!

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune condition that attacks the central nervous system.
The central nervous system – including the brain and spinal cord – is the communications system of your body. It sends signals that tell the body what to do and how to respond to information.
MS causes the body’s immune system to attack itself, which damages these connective signals.
Symptoms in people living with MS vary from person to person. However, some common symptoms of MS include:
fatigue
pain
bladder and bowel issues
muscle spasms
vision problems
balance and coordination problems
brain fog
Please see your Doctor for medical advice if you have any concerns.
Research to cure MS is ongoing.

Last November, I set out to give running a go again. I had been injured 13 years prior. Told by Dr’s not to run again or it may result in paralysis. So, I stopped running!
November last year I got the itch to give it one last go. I am going to be 50 in 2026. So, if I was ever going to try again it was literally now or never.
And I did. I started by walking laps of a 2km park. Slowly running 500 metres, then 1km and gradually building up to running full laps.
I attended parkrun, unable to make the full 5 kms. But the bug was well and truly back. I was hooked!
Move forward to August this year and I have run a 6km fun run, 10km fun run, Ren Melbourne half marathon.
I am about to run Brighton Beach Half Marathon.
And low and behold I will be running Melbourne marathon!
What a journey!
I’ve been offered a starting place as a VIP superstar for MS Plus. Raising awareness for multiple sclerosis and fundraising for an overshadowed charity.
